*Why is face paint a great choice for any event/party?
Face painting is a magical experience...it transforms children of all ages into amazing creatures and allows them to "dive" into a world of fantasy and delight. When they look in a mirror they can see tigers, princesses, mermaids, super heroes, cats, puppies, leopards, sharks,butterflies, bunnies, snakes, peacocks, dinosaurs, monsters and skeletons, and much more, all of it in a rainbow of colors that look incredible! The children that I paint will then walk around the party providing excitement and delight for those who see them, as well as a festive, classy décor! Children and adults alike get fascinated while being painted or simply by watching me paint. Plus:
- It doesn't require any set up or clean up from you (a great peace of mind...)
- It will work with other activities without interfering or disrupting - I will be painting in the background while other activities take place.

*Why should I choose Amazing Face Art for my party/event?
When you hire someone through a party store or an agency you never know who are you going to get. It could be someone going to their first party, or someone that you might not be comfortable with. The artist you hire will be interfacing with your children/friends/employees and will be representing you. You want to be sure that this person is friendly, professional and knowledgeable (please check my "about me" page).
All the faces on my gallery page were painted by me only. What you see is what you get. Period. There is also no hidden charges in my fees, you'll know exactly what you are going to spend before I arrive (please check territory). Plus, I have a beautiful "carnival canopy" available for a small fee, that adds to the excitement and helps keep the children (and myself) out of your way, giving you more room for guests, presents and food. It's a worry-free entertainment for a very reasonable price.

*How many guests can you paint in one hour?
Most clients choose from our fabulous designs gallery which enables 8 to 15 guests to be painted in one hour, but I also have quicker designs available that average 20 to 30 faces per hour as well as more detailed designs that average 6 to 10 faces per hour.
*Do you handle parties with both boys & girls?
Yes, most parties are a mix. I have big design boards with samples for boys and girls, and put them out so the children can decide what they want.
*Do you also paint adults?
Yes! yes! yes! Children of "all ages" love to be painted, I paint adults all the time at parties. It only depends on how much you want to spend ( the more people,the longer it takes). I paint amazing animal faces, fairies, princesses, dragons, tigers, butterflies, spiderman and a lot more children's favorites. I also paint more intricate designs sophisticated enough for teens and adults. I paint designs not only on faces but also on arms, feet, legs, shoulders, back and bellies too. My unique bracelets, armbands and anklets are very popular!

*How many hours should I book?
Plan at least one hour for every 8 to 15 guests (children/adults). Don't forget to include any siblings that will be at the party. If more guests show up than you planned for, I can stay longer. If your guests are late or you just need a "couple of extra minutes" to finish all the guests I will accommodate it.
*How much do you charge?
Parties: The amount of faces painted will vary with the detailing of the designs chosen.
Sports logos and cartoon characters usually take longer.

*What's the difference between a party and an event?
A party has a fixed number of guests, so I know how much time I will need to paint everybody. An event has a large, undetermined number of people. However, some parties are large enough to fall into the event category.
*How should I plan the party?
It depends on the others activities you may have planned. Usually in the first hour of the party or after the children eat and before the cake. Face painting is done one at a time and it usually takes 3 to 5 minutes to do each face paint. Some children like to seat and watch but others prefer to play until their turn is up, so providing other activities is advisable ( a bounce house for example). I will assign the kids numbers so they can play and enjoy the party instead of staying in line waiting, but it is a good idea to have them choose the design they want before their turn to minimize time. Because I need to concentrate on painting, I can not be expected to supervise any unruly children, so please keep an eye on the kids and also be responsible for deciding the order for painting.
*How far in advance should I book?
I suggest booking your party at least one month in advance. I will accept last minute bookings as long as I'm available, but weekends book up quickly so you should book as early as possible to ensure availability.

*How do I book a party?
In order to give an accurate quote, I need to know:
- Time and date of the party
- Location of party (town or city)
- Number of guests to be painted
- Age ranges of children
I require a deposit fee of $50.00 paid in cash or check ( paypal will soon be available).

*What if it rains on the day I booked my party?
No problem. I can set up indoors instead or if it's only light rain or sprinkles my tent will protect the face painting area. It can still be a great party! If you need to cancel due to bad weather, I will reschedule at no extra charge.
*Am I expected to tip you?
Tips are appreciated and accepted but never expected :)

*Would face painting be enough entertainment for my party?
Absolutely!! Kids LOVE face painting and get very exited when they see my sample boards. You could add some activities like swimming, games, crafts, bounce house or have a more economic party at a park with a playground.
*What do I have to supply?
I have a professional ez-up canopy for outdoors parties/events (not needed if there's shade unless asked), and also chairs and tables.You don't have to worry about providing anything, I will bring everything I need!! ( I will need access to an electrical hook-up if I'm painting after dark). It's my job to make the whole process and easy and enjoyable experience for the children and for YOU.
*Do you do anything other than face painting?
Yes, I also provide temporary glitter tattoos (lasts 3 to 7 days and can easily be removed with alcohol) henna ( lasts up to 2 weeks), and nail art (perfect for those "princess parties" ," slumber parties", "pool parties", or teenagers/family "get togethers"). Not to mention stick-on gems, colorful stickers and lots of glitter!

*Do you wear a costume?
No, I wear comfortable clothes. Face painting and a great personality is all you need.
*What kind of paint do you use?
It's your children's skin!! I only use the safest and highest quality face paints in the market. They are hypoallergenic, non toxic and FDA approved. Easily washes off with soap and water. A lot of face painters use acrylic paints because it's cheaper. Those paints are not design for use on human skin and not recommended by the manufacturers. *Terms and conditions
I am not liable for any allergic reactions to the face paints. If any of the children are prone to have allergies, I will gladly do a patch test before I paint.
I'm not responsible for any clothes damage. Face paints are easily removed from clothes with cold water and stain removal products
I will paint any age children that are happy to have their face painted, but if the child objects I will stop painting.
I will not paint over cuts, eczema, burns, or anyone who appears to be sick.
I will not supervise or keep the kids from getting unruly.
